The BEHN + BATES Form-Fill-Seal technology for animal feed and pet food
In future an increasing number of pet food and animal feed producers will want to fill their products into plastic bags. The motive: Each producer is keen on keeping packing costs as low as possible. The Form-Fill-Seal bag meets this requirement to the largest possible extent. It is formed out of a gusseted tubular film, filled and sealed thus enabling the bag size to be optimally adjusted to the product. As a result film consumption is reduced.
In the beginning just granules could be reliably filled into Form-Fill-Seal bags. But technologies have developed during the last few years. Nowadays convincing Form-Fill-Seal packing solutions are available for animal feed and pet food, too. Our delivery programme includes several machine variants differing in output, type of product dosing and de-aeration:

The proven filling machines HAVER-ROTO-PACKER® and HAVER FFS system made by our parent company HAVER & BOECKER have been combined. The result is THE ADAMS® - our new trend-setter for filling powdery animal feed and pet food into Form-Fill-Seal bags.
You tell us what products you want to handle at which speeds. We will design THE ADAMS® to meet your requirements: Up to 12 filling spouts are possible.
The BEHN + BATES Form-Fill-Seal systems

We offer different Form-Fill-Seal systems for the environment-friendly and energy-saving packing of animal feed and pet food. All of them are state-of-the-art.
