BEHN + BATES recently welcomed a delegation from South America to the HAVER & BOECKER headquarters in Oelde. The visit was organized in cooperation with AHK Chile and AHK Colombia as part of an international information trip focusing on the packaging industry.
The delegation consisted of representatives from a wide range of companies across Chile, Colombia, and Peru, including Exportadora San Clemente, Dila, Vitafoods, Concha y Toro, XPE Solutions, Entrelagos, Tecnoembalaje, Dulces La Americana, Brinsa, Agraf Industrial, Carnes Casa Blanca, and Matritech.
These companies operate in various sectors such as food production, packaging solutions, engineering, and industrial processing, reflecting the diversity and dynamism of the Latin American market.
The visit is part of a broader program that also includes a joint visit to interpack, the world’s leading trade fair for packaging and processing. There, the delegation is exploring the latest innovations and industry trends together.
At our company, the delegation received a comprehensive introduction to BEHN + BATES, its product portfolio, and its technological capabilities. The visit included a detailed presentation as well as a guided tour of the facilities, allowing participants to experience the production environment first-hand.
A particular highlight of the visit was the presentation in Spanish, which was delivered at the delegation’s request. Valeria Legorreta from our spare parts department conducted the presentation and supported the tour with on-site translation, making a significant contribution to effective communication and a very positive overall experience.
We were also pleased to welcome our Brazilian colleagues Daiene Pinto, Edson, and Ronaldo, who joined the visit and enriched the exchange with their regional perspective and close connection to the South American market.
The visit provided an excellent opportunity for dialogue, knowledge exchange, and strengthening international connections. This encounter underlined the importance of building long-term relationships and maintaining a strong global network within the packaging industry.
